Photographic Scavenger Hunt Contest Scoring

Scoring system for the Photographic Scavenger Hunt Contest.

Per Item

For voting, a series of pages will be presented, one for each item. On each page, the images for that item will be presented for voting in random and anonymous order. Voters may vote for the image they consider the best for each item, where "best" may mean photographic quality, artistic merit, humor, or whatever amalgam of attributes appeals to the voter. The author of the picture for that item that scores the greatest number of votes will have 1 point awarded to their total.

Additionally, if an author is the only one who produces a picture for an item, they will receive a 1 point bonus (in addition to the 1 point they will earn for automatically having the greatest number of votes).
